Android Saga
The Z Warriors discover that Number 17 and 18 (the real threat) are not awake
yet. Piccolo asks Trunks to describe what the androids look like. Android 17
is described as a young man with black hair, blue eyes and a Red Ribbon
scarf. Android 18 is a beautiful young woman with blue eyes and blonde hair.
They rush to Dr. Gero's lab to destroy the androids while Gohan takes Bulma,
baby Trunks and Yajirobe home. Gero sees the Z fighters heading for his lab
as well. Gero beats them to his lab due to the lab being hidden.
By the time the Z warriors arrive, the Androids are awakened by Dr. Gero and
are wrecking his lab. Number 17 punches Gero's back and goes through his
stomach. He then kicks off Gero's head and crushes it. Trunks panics and does
a large energy blast destroying the lab. The Androids are still in tact along
with another vessel holding another android. All the Androids head to a
remote area. Number 17 and 18 awaken the Android, Number 16. His programming
was to destroy Goku. They then head toward Goku's house with Vegeta hot on
their trail. Trunks follows behind him to save his father from certain doom.
Vegeta halts the androids in need of destruction. Android 18 decides to take
on Vegeta. A few minutes into the battle the rest of the Z warriors catch up
and prepare to step in. However, if they do so Android 17 will step in as
well. Number 16 however refuses to fight because he was created only to fight
the one called Goku. Vegeta soon realizes that Android 18 is dominating the
fight. Android 18 unleashes a hard shot to Vegeta's arm, dislocating and
breaking it. Trunks comes in to save Vegeta. Piccolo and Tien then follow
while Krillin stays behind in fear. Android 18 breaks Trunks's sword on
contact and throws him into his unconscious father. Android 17 then easily
takes care of Piccolo and Tien with out even breaking a sweat. The Androids
then head toward Krillin. They admit to him that it was all just a game and
that they would gladly fight their enemies again once they have healed.
Android 18 gives Krillin a small kiss to his cheek, then leave. To save their
energy, the androids use a nearby van to ride to Goku's house.
The Z Warriors move Goku to Master Roshi's house for fear that the Androids
might try to kill Goku. Piccolo heads toward Kame to become one and be strong
enough to fight the androids. Bulma contacts the Z Warriors and tells them
that she saw a time machine like Trunks's. Trunks and Gohan fly out to look
at the machine and find a small eggshell in the capsule. Not to far from the
time machine is a large insect cocoon, leaving the Z warriors in confusion.
In a town near them, a monster is absorbing people left and right. Piccolo,
fearing that he will never be strong enough to stop the Androids, decides to
fuse back with Kame. When Piccolo arrives, Kame tells him about the horrible
creature attacking Ginger Town. The two fuse with Piccolo as the base, and
the two become one again. Piccolo flies to Ginger Town to face this new
threat. He encounters the horrible creature.
Imperfect Cell Saga
The two warriors begin to battle. Piccolo notices the creature knows similar
attacks such as the Kamehameha. The creature holds Piccolo captive and
absorbs his arm through his needle like tail. Piccolo breaks free and demands
to know more about his opponent before he loses his life to it. The creature
agrees to Piccolo's last wish. The monster says his name is Cell, one of Dr.
Gero's creations. When Trunks returned to the future and killed Androids 17
and 18 of that time, Cell killed Trunks and stole his time machine to return
to the past where the Androids were still alive. Cell reveals about how Dr.
Gero abandoned the project on him but left the computer on to develop him on
its own. In order to reach perfect form, he needed the beings of two figures
crucial to the power up, Androids 17 and 18. As newly hatched, he needed
energy. That is why he has been absorbing people. Piccolo swears that he will
not allow Cell to reach his perfect form. Then, he tears off his useless limb
and regenerates his arm. The two fight again. Krillin and Tien arrive to
help. Cell panics and does the solar flare attack. Cell runs off and evades
Piccolo as it gathers more energy. Piccolo and the others chase after the new
menace.
The Androids head for Goku's house, terrorizing everyone in their path, and
find he is not there. They then head for Master Roshi's house, still viewing
the whole thing as a game.
Goku recovers from his illness and, hearing everything while asleep, prepares
to join in fighting. Goku goes to Gohan and then to Vegeta and Trunks to tell
them all of a place where you can train for the equivalent of a year but in
only one day. All of them go to Kame's Lookout to enter the Room of Spirit
and Time. Only two people can enter the room at a time however, so Vegeta and
Trunks go in first.
Meanwhile, Cell has gained enough strength to finally go looking for the
Androids to achieve his perfect form. The Androids reach Roshi's house and
Piccolo leads them to a nearby island to fight. Piccolo warns them that he
has enough strength to defeat all three of them. Android 17 simply laughs as
the two begin to battle. The two seem equal. Lefts and rights were exchanged
back and forth. Piccolo suddenly unleashes dozens and dozens of small energy
blasts, none make contact. He jumps behind him and fires even more blasts but
to avail. 17 soon wonders why he keeps firing when he knows he can't touch
him. Piccolo stops and opens his arms. 17 turns around and sees hundreds of
energy balls surrounding him. Piccolo purposely missed him so he could trap
him in an energy web. Piccolo smiles and brings his hands together as the
giant web of energy balls collide and explode trapping Android 17 inside.
As the dust settles Android 17 still stands but is hurt badly. As the fight
continues, Cell shows up on their island battleground. Piccolo tells the
androids about Cell and what his intentions were. Cell tries to catch Android
17 with his tail but is caught by Piccolo. Piccolo throws him into the ocean
and saves 17. Piccolo powers up for one large attack against Cell. Cell
slowly walks toward Piccolo. Piccolo fires and causes a giant crater. Cell
rises from the ashes unharmed and knocks out Piccolo. Cell than blasts a
energy wave through Piccolos abdomen. Cell than throws the lifeless Piccolo
in the ocean floor.
Cell heads for Android 17. Cell easily dominates Android 17. Cell's
needlepoint tail extends into a cone shaped vacuum. Before Cell is able to
absorb Android 17, Android 16 joins the fight. Android 16 overwhelms Cell.
Android 16 pulls Cell's tail off. Cell quickly regenerates it back. With one
good shot by Android 16, Cell becomes buried in a pile of rubble. Android 17
tells 18 to run and hide. Cell suddenly emerges from the ground and absorbs
Android 17. Cell changes into a second form. His boby is much more bulky with
a longer tail and a more human like face. He easily beats Number 16 with his
newfound strength. Cell blasts 16 with one good shot to the head and opens
him up destroying most of his circuits. Android 18 is now left alone.
Once he had a chance to absorb Android 18, Tien arrives and tried to battle
Cell for himself. Tien then uses his new Kikoho attack. The large diamond
blast pushes Cell back into the ground. Tien tells 18 and 16 to run while he
holds off Cell. Soon, Tien can do no more and falls helplessly toward the
ground. Piccolo's body appears in the ocean reef showing some signs of life.
Goku uses his Instant Transmission to teleport himself to the battleground.
Goku stares at a focused Cell then transports Piccolo and Tien to Kame's
place for recovery. Suddenly the time chamber opens revealing a much more
powerful force of Trunks and Vegeta. They both head out to stop Cell as Goku
and Gohan train in the time chamber.
Cell heads for Android 18 to absorb her. He is unable to find them since he
couldn't sense their energy. Cell than destroys every island in sight.
Suddenly, Vegeta and Trunks arrives and start to fight. The two seem equal,
Vegeta then shows his true power. He goes Ultra Super Saiyan. His muscles and
power expanded far beyond Cell's. Vegeta easily defeats him using his new
Saiyan strength. Being weak and humiliated, Cell convinces Vegeta to let him
turn into his final form so that Vegeta can test out his true strength.
Vegeta agrees and lets Cell go.
Trunks however, prevents him from going. Vegeta then occupies Trunks as Cell
heads for 18. Krillin and 16 try to hold off Cell but are easily beaten. Cell
then absorbs Android 18 as darkness enters the atmosphere. Cell has reached
Perfection.
Perfect Cell Saga
Afterwards, Vegeta was no match for Cell and beats him until he was to and
inch of his life. Trunks immediately stepped in and showed that he was much
stronger than Vegeta. Trunks goes Ultra Super Saiyan. Trunks started to
defeat Cell for awhile, but Trunks loses due to his bulky muscles slowing him
down.
Meanwhile, the Saiyans finish their training in the room of Spirit and Time,
and Bulma rebuilds Android 16, who joins the Z Warriors.
Cell, in his infinite arrogance, announces the Cell Games, a tournament to
give people the chance to fight him, one on one. If Cell survives, he will
destroy the Earth. He gives them ten days to prepare for the televised event.
While the Z fighters train, the earth's armed forces try to destroy cell with
their heavy artillery. Cell doesn't feel a thing and launches a 360-degree
blast disintegrating thousands of men.
Ten days later, all the Z fighters show up at Cells arena. Mr. Satan
(Hercule) shows up as well with his students and camera crew. Satan's men
easily lose to Cell, very easily. Mr. Satan shows a barrage of lefts and
rights but Cell doesn't notice. Cell knocks Mr. Satan out of the ring. Cell
than calls up Goku and they begin to battle.
Goku and Cell seem even. Each warrior was delivering lefts and rights shaking
the ground underneath. Goku and Cell battle to a standstill. Goku then begins
to lose. Cell blows up the arena so there are no limits to the battle. Goku
starts to struggle and lose. He becomes enraged and flies in the air to do a
giant Kamehameha wave. Cell calls his bluff, if he fired and missed it would
blow up the earth. "KAME…" Goku begins to power up and Cell begins to worry.
"HAME…" The Z fighters now panic and plead Goku not to fire. Suddenly Goku
uses his Instant Transmission attack to sneak underneath Cell. "HAAAA!!!"
Goku fires and blows away Cells body. The wave cuts Cell in half and his
upper body disintegrates.
With half of his body remaining, Cell regenerates himself. Goku used too much
power in his last attack and is no match for Cell. Goku suddenly stops
fighting and says that he will let Gohan take his place. Goku even gives Cell
a Senzu Bean to keep things even. Gohan says that Goku is making him fight
because when he gets angry his power rises unbelievably. Cell wants to see
Gohan's hidden power, so he begins to beat Gohan mercilessly to force him to
get angry. But no matter what Gohan never gets angry enough to fight back.
Goku watches patiently and keeps everyone else out of the fight.
Android 16 sneaks up on Cell since you can't sense an android's power. Number
16 puts Cell in a bear hug and tells everyone to clear out so he can activate
the self-destruct mechanism that Dr. Gero put inside all his Androids. But
Krillin yells to him that Bulma removed it when she put him back together.
Cell laughs at 16's ignorance and destroys him with a one handed blast.
Cell gets tired of waiting for Gohan to get angry and threatens to kill the
spectators. Cell flies to Krillin to steal his bag of Senzu Beans and heads
back to Gohan. Cell creates 7 little clones from his tail, the Cell Juniors.
The Cell Juniors battle the spectators. Gohan watches helplessly as the Cell
Juniors attack his friends. Not even Goku can defend himself.
In the background, Mr. Satan and a camera crew have been documenting the
tournament. Android 16's head lands near Mr. Satan and demands to be taken
near Gohan so that he can tell Gohan how to save the world.
After much reluctance, Mr. Satan slowly walks out into the ring and throws
the head toward Gohan, then sneaks back behind a rock like the coward he
truly is. Android 16's head encourages Gohan to fight until Cell finally
notices the exchange between the two. He crushes the head of Android 16. This
sends Gohan into a rage and his powers up to a level two Super Saiyan. Gohan
steals the Senzu Beans back from Cell and easily beats the Cell Juniors. He
then gives the Senzu beans to Trunks and tells him to heal the others.
Gohan beats on Cell for awhile. Knowing he is no match, Cell is forced to
power up to 100%. His body muscles expanded greatly along with his height and
anger. Cell can still not beat Gohan because he was to slow. Gohan lands a
tough kick to the large body of Cell, forcing him to regurgitate Android 18
out of his body. Cell degrades to his 2nd form.
Seeing no way to win in an even weaker form, Cell activates his self-destruct
sequence. To save the Earth, Goku teleports Cell to King Kai's planet. Cell
explodes and King Kai's tiny planet is destroyed. Goku, King Kai, Bubbles,
and Gregory die in the blast.
The Z Warriors are all standing around in disbelief, when a fireball out of
nowhere flies through Trunks's body. The heroes look up to find Cell, in his
perfect form, smiling down on them.
Cell explains that when he exploded, a single brain cell remained, from which
he rebuilt himself. And due to his Saiyan DNA, the beast was able to come
back stronger than before, in his perfect form. Vegeta gets mad and fires
multiple blasts at Cell, but Cell stands by unharmed. Cell knocks Vegeta out
and fires a shot at his helpless body. Gohan however zips over to Vegeta and
takes the blast for him, breaking his arm in the process. Cell then decides
to destroy Gohan and the earth with one last Kamehameha.
Cell and Gohan begin a Kamehameha duel, but it comes to a stalemate. Through
King Kai, Goku yells encouragement his son. Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, and
Piccolo fire all they have at Cell, but to no avail. Vegeta wakes back up and
gets angry at the show of force from the low class warriors. Cell is about to
win the duel when Vegeta fires a blast born of hatred at Cell. This is
powerful enough to distract the mighty creature. Goku yells to Gohan that
this is his chance to finish Cell off for good. Gohan puts all he has into
his Kamehameha, and disintegrates Cell off the face of the earth.
The Z Warriors head victoriously to Kame's Lookout, and Vegeta flies away,
disbelieving that Gohan could be stronger than he is. Mr. Satan and the news
reporters wake up, and Mr. Satan, seeing the empty battlefield, takes all the
credit for Cell's destruction. As the world celebrates Mr. Satan, the Z
Warriors rest in Kame's Lookout with Dende (the new Kame) who heals Gohan.
Android 18 awakens after the battle and the Z Warriors prepare for another
battle. Krillin stops them from killing her and she flies away to the
background of the Warriors joking on how Krillin has a crush on her.
